Classical music is one my favourite one. I’ve never been a fan of one, specific kind of music but I’m faithful to classical music from years. I don’t even remember how and when it started but it was long time ago. Classical music has many genders and they are for listening to, not for example for dancing or film music. Let’s see closer the genders of classical music. Of course I’ll write you only general information- if you’re keen on it, you should read some specialist literature.
    1.      symphony: a piece of music for orchestra, consisting of three or four parts. Symphonies were popular in the 18th century, 19th and the first half of the 20th century.
    2.      fugue: written for two voices, one of which "escapes" and the second go "chasing". The theme of fugue is the most important part of it - it must be adapted to the specific requirements of this species.
    3.      opera: a vocal-music, which also interacts with the staging taking place on the stage. Opera consists of vocal, orchestra, ballet and spoken parts (not always).
    4.      sonata: instrumental form of music, typical for classical-romantic period.
    5.      roundelay: musical form, which is based on repeating refrain and couplets.
    6.      variation: it can be a separate piece or part of a larger instrumental piece.
    7.      concert: performance of musician or group in front of live audiences.
It’s worth to say about some famous names connected with classcial music. I think that I don’t have to introduce Bach, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Vivaldi, Verdi, Dworak and many, many more.
But classical music is not only the honey for our ears and great artists. In the Internet we can find a lot of information from researches which show that classical music has a positive influence on human – on reading, creativity, learning foreign languages, self-assessment, hush up, memory, concentration and many more. The arguments are convinced for me and I recommend you listening to it – for the beginning maybe one hour per week? ;)
Below I show you one of my favourite piece of classical music – “The Blue Danube” by Strauss. I have a lot of “favourities” but this one is particular – I don’t even know why ;)
