HUMAN WORLD: Brain
Saturday, November 23
Brain is practically the most important part of our body. It’s not too big, but very important. Thanks to it we can think, talk, listen to, write, read, count, analyze, feel, remind, make decisions and so on. We can list many activities which we can property do when our brain is working good. Generally it contains two hemispheres (right and left) and five lobes – frontal, parietal, occipital, temporal and limbic. Each of them is responsible for different functions. Let’s leave anatomic details.
Doing some research about the brain I choose 10 oddities about it:
1. Man’s brain is bigger than woman’s. It doesn’t have any effect on efficiency but the woman’s brain is more productive.2. Brain doesn’t feel the pain because it doesn’t have any receptors. Headache is just the pain of the skull’s skin.3. Plasticity – brain has an incredible ability to „change” its function. If one part is damaged, there is a huge possibility that the other one can take its activity.4. Brain develops for the whole of our life but more we are older, the slower it develops. It is very important to train it, train and once again – train!5. The texture of jelly makes the brain great fix to skull even if one part is cut. Being like a jelly is connected with that brain contains in 80% from water.6. Glucose is one of basic product which is used to feed the brain. So you should eat regularly due not to decrease the level of glucose.7. Brain of average human is 2% of his weight, need 20% of energy and contains around 100 billion of neurons.8. Brain has an effect on each function of our body, for ex ample breathing, feeling pain, contraction and diastole of heart, pulse etc.9. Brain makes energy even during dream.10. Each second million of information come to our brain. Of course we can’t catch all of them.Brain is the part of our body which can surprise us. Till today we haven’t Get to know all of its functions. I think it’s great because there is a lot before us :) It’s very important not to stop using our brain and train it all the time to create new receptors. Be creative and our brain will be working effectively.Autor: Unknown Etykiety: HUMAN WORLD | Email This BlogThis! Share to X Share to Facebook |
