Today I’ll try to
find the answer for very important question, especially during Christmas time
when we’re buying gifts and present for our friends and family. How not to lose
your mind and how not to be cheated by dishonest sellers? Have you ever been
cheated doing online shopping? I think yes, that you have at least one such
“adventure”. Most of my online transactions were very satisfying, but one day
some seller claimed that rectangle is a square, even if dimensions were for a
square.
Doing some research
for today’s post I’ve found a lot of advices – more or less useful. Below I
show 10 the most important in my opinion:
1.
Always check the seller –
name, other buyers opinions, if that company really exists, if it has email
address to contact them or phone number.
2.
Check very carefully for what
you’re paying – cost of product with delivery. Sometimes the auction is only
for “half of product” or some part of it and delivery costs are terrible.
3. When you pay
by credit card, make sure that your Internet connection is safe and you won’t
be robbed. Avoid using public places to do it.
4.
Check if you have order
confirmation from the seller and you’re informed about each step of your order
(payment, packing, delivering).
5. Pay attention
for description of product – does it contain all parts and accessories? Is it
safely packed, does it have necessary software?
6.
If the seller wrote rules for
his shop, read them – maybe there is something unfavorable for you.
7. Pay
attention for delivery time – sometimes you have to wait even month! And
Christmas is coming ;)
8.
If you get empty package, call
the police. I don’t wish you it but it happens.
9.
Remember that you can give
back your product in 10 days.
10. Have limited
trust and use smartshoppping!
I think that all of
us has own rules and advices which we use during online shopping. The most
important is to be careful and doesn’t trust all sellers. It’s not worth to
waste money and time for buying something one again :)
