We’ve just invited New Year and I think that a lot of you have some wishes for next year. Maybe some of them are connected with staying fit and doing more exercises. And maybe you’ll make a decision to take up some martial art. Today I’ve decided to show you some ideas but I think that they aren’t typical. I haven’t even heard about them but they are interesting :)

    1. Cane-fu: name is from word cane and it uses cane ;) So it’s especially for older people who has this attribute. It doesn’t change the fact it’s quite unusual but maybe some of you are fans of this kind of gadgets :) In a word – don’t phunk the grandma (or grandpa) who has a cane.

    2. Zui Quan: it’s for alcohol fans. The Chinese technic which is based on pretending drunk man so as to mislead your opponent. The person who is using this technic, is doing some special moves – lurching, flapping etc. But it’s not so easy – you have to be very fit, coordinate your body and have great equilibrium and joint strength. You should me almost an acrobat. Fans of Jackie Chan could see
Zui Quan in „Drunken Master” film.

    3. Sambo: it’s a martial art which comes from Russia and connects elements of judo and wrestling. It started in 20ties of XX century and since 1966 it’s a sport discipline. We can divide it into three categories – sport sambo which is based of grasps but choke hold is forbidden; combat sambo – used in military and combat purposes, using overwhelming, choking, hitting; military sambo – for use of Russian army.

    4. System of red fenix: it’s Polish martial art which leads you to get the ability to defend yourself in small area, for example lift, narrow street, staircase etc. It uses kicking, boxing and grasps.

    5. And for the end something funny but hurtful in the same way – shin kicking, which is popular in Great Britian in Cotswolds from XVII century. Two players are standing in opposite to themselves and their task is to kick their shins. In the same time they are holding their collars. In order to amortize the strength of kick, they put straw into leg of trousers.
    Englishmen… ;)
