As on the previous, the
same will be on this Friday and few next – today it will be dedicated to films
from 30s. This period was for sound films – they eliminated silent films very
fast. Nevertheless many actors didn’t lose their popularity – even it was a
great time for them. To the greatest names we class Greta Garbo, Clark Gable,
Humphrey Bogart, Shirley Temple, Judy Garland, Kirk Douglas and many more. It’s
also worth to say that from 1930 there was production code – the list of
forbidden things and scenes in the cinemas. It also pointed the most dangerous
effects. Of course it wasn’t any obstacle for producers – for example long
kisses were paused by steamy whispers. In the middle of 30s first full-time
animated films became popular. First one was made by Walt Disney in 1937. There
is no doubt that 30s were the beginning of Hollywood’s Golden Age which was
till 50s.
Let’s see which films we
can watch. Below there is a list of eight films in chronologic order.
